    Oscars 2016 Best Dressed

    Oscars 2016 main photo

Last night was the Oscars and I rarely actually watch awards shows, so no surprise that I didn’t watch the Oscars. But I do know (as I’m sure everyone knows) that Leonard DiCaprio won an Oscar for Best Actor and he definitely deserves it. But one thing I am always interested in when it comes to awards shows is the Red Carpet. So below are my choice for Best Dressed.

    Summer Slides

Screen Shot 2015-08-09 at 10.36.14 PM

A trend that I have been loving this summer is the Slide Sandal, if your anything like me and like to be comfortable yet fashionable then this trend is for you. What I love most about this style of shoe is being able to just slip into them and be out the door. Being that I am always running fashionably late, the less steps to get ready the better. These are super easy to wear and can be dressed up or down. Anyone can pull off this style shoe so don’t be hesitant to try this trend.

    Met Gala 2015 Fashion Favorites

Screen Shot 2015-05-09 at 11.37.27 AM

Monday night was Met Gala in which the theme celebrated the museums “China Through the Looking Glass” exhibition. If you didn’t know there is always a theme to the Met Gala which can lead to some interesting outfits. These are my favorites looks from the night in no particular order, even though most in my opinion didn’t dress to the theme (but they looked amazing)

    Lilly Pulitzer for Target

A few months ago, I heard about the Lilly Pulitzer for Target collaboration and I’m honestly never really excited for the Target designer collaborations. But when I saw the lookbook I just loved everything and knew that I needed to pick up some pieces from this collection. Summer is just around the corner and I love all the prints and graphics. Everything is fun and bright which is what I love wear in the summer months here in NYC. I love that the collection has something for “plus size”, things that are actually really cute. The prices range from $2-$250 and the collection will be available in stores and online on April 19th. So if you want some of these pieces mark your calendars because I have a feeling these items will go quick. Needless to say I will be picking up some pieces from this collection and crossing my fingers that my local Target will carry the whole collection so I can shop in person rather then online.

See some of my favorite pieces from the collection below Continue reading “Lilly Pulitzer for Target” »
